Morocco, a country that is experiencing a tremendous boom with the development of tourism, has seen several imperial capitals established over the centuries.
Marrakech the Red city, in the center of the country has a huge souk that keeps vibrating ;
Rabat, the current capital of the country, facing the Atlantic Ocean ;
Fez, in the north of the country has a medina, classified as World Heritage by Unesco ;
Meknes, is known particularly for its door Bab-El-Mansour, one of the most beautiful in Morocco.
To discover these imperial cities is to wander in the medinas, to meet the population, to visit the museums and to discover the souks. We have integrated their discovery in a very large Kingdom Tour, which passes by other cities like the blue Chefchaouen or the beautiful Essaouira, for a great dive in the history of Morocco !

Our big Tour of Morocco
Visit of the great historical monuments of Fez, from the history of its construction to its doors opening with your guide on unique architectural buildings, covered with mosaics (zelliges) and the secrets of its craftsmen in wood or brassware (lighting, in particular).
Its impressive tannery of skins and its medina will provide all the detours necessary to dive in a real and luminous Morocco.
A walk of a hundred kilometers around Fez, especially in the very charming Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, before walking in the Roman remains of Volubilis tor discover the green city Meknes.
Erected from the 17th century, it is one of the most beautiful buildings in the Kingdom, to the extent of the outrageous ambition of Sultan Moulay Ismaïl who made it an imperial city.
Departure to the heights of the Middle Atlas, with the “Little Switzerland” IFrane (at 1,600 m altitude), called that way because of the beauty of its mountains, its humid climate, its European architecture and its famous ski resort.
Walk to its great lakes, before the forests of cedar Azrou and its little monkeys of Barbary, preserved here in a natural and free environment.
Change of scenery with Merzouga, its golden sand dunes skirting Erg Chebbii, a place naturally essential for tourists but also for Moroccans who particularly like it for its baths of arenotherapy (thermal bath in the hot sand) .
A bivouac under the stars in the dunes should also be able to give you a very beautiful memory.
After a stunning road showing the mountains of the High Atlas in the heart of the Amazighe land of Tinghir, next to the valleys of Drâa and Dadès rises the charming Berber town of Ouarzazate, and its incredible desert landscapes that attracted major producers and filmmakers from around the world.
Visit the village of Ait Ben Haddou, the archetype of the ksar of southern Morocco, certainly the largest and best preserved of the kingdom Sherifian, an ancient fortress classified world heritage of humanity by UNESCO.
And a decorum that you may be familiar with, if you’ve been watching movies from several American blockbusters like Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia and even Game of Thrones.
The night will unfold Marrakech, his huge souk whose heart beats around the incredible Jenna el Fna square until the late hours of the evening.
Incursion into the famous small port city of southern Morocco, Essaouira and its palette of white and blue colors, driven by the rhythms of both the Atlantic and sub-Saharan gateway.
Then direction to Oualidia, former fishing village, wich has the distinction of being both close to the ocean and a quiet lagoon where its blue waters are reminiscent of some shores of the Mediterranean . A sunset near pretty small shady boats style “Italian vaporetto” should open the appetite, that restaurants here (seafood specialists) will make you enjoy under a parasol on the beach.
Historically, El Jadida (“The new City”) was rebuilt on the remains of the Portuguese city formerly named Mazagan (16th century). World Heritage of UNESCO since 2004, the city is now famous for the renovation of the walls of its fortress, and for its “Portuguese cistern”, where a visit is required to discover its underground water reservoir, before to stroll in its harbor or on its beach.
Then head for Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco to dozens of remarkable places, the Hassan Tower and the Mohammed V mausoleum to the Kasbah Oudayas, all houses and alleys have been repainted in blue and white.
Boosted by its reputation as a heaven of peace by the presence of the tomb of the sulphurous writer Jean Genet, Larache is also worth been visited for the very spanish charms of its arcades truffled with small restaurants, starting point towards the Moorish door of Bab el Khemis then its long walks along the ocean.
The end of the day will take place in the White Tangier, its Kasbah and its medina, a world-city whose beauty and activity are not fully stopped by the night.
After a morning in the middle of all shops in Tangier, direction to the great medina of Tetouan, located in the North as well, considered as one of the most beautiful of Morocco.
The rest of the day will be used to discover the seaside town of Al Hoceima, bathed by the blue waters of the Mediterranean.
We will extend the discovery of the Rif by its Mediterranean face to the fishing village of Oued Lahou, and take the direction to the Blue City of Chefchaouen, which is considered a very special city in Morocco.
A delight for photographers, with walls loaded with pigments passing from pale blue to violet depending on the time of day, a wonder now classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as well.
Finally, we will join Fez ending this unique tour of Morocco, but before we will visit the city of Ouazzane, built amphitheatrically on the sides of two mountains, and extremely known in Morocco for shelter during 4 centuries (and therefore all the opportunities to bring back with you very beautiful gifts-souvenirs).
This will be the last step before returning to Fez, where we will happily share a last tea and Moroccan pastries, before you return among us !
